Jump Start 2026

The Greek Women's University Club invites members, spouses, and friends to begin the year with warm fellowship. Dr. Elaine Thomopoulos has graciously opened her home for the first event of 2026. Please plan to bring an appetizer, dessert, or beverage to share. As always, gentlemen are welcome.

Guests are kindly requested to refrain from wearing scented products.

Celebrating talent: the 2025 music competition

The club sponsored its thirty-fifth national music competition on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Alice Millar Chapel, Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois. Five talented young Greek Americans performed for the judges and guests, followed by a reception at Northwestern University.

About the club

Established in 1931.

Established in 1931, the Greek Women’s University Club is dedicated to advancing education, promoting the arts, literature and sciences, preserving Hellenic history and culture, and recognising the achievements of young women and men of Greek descent.

It is a privilege to congratulate these amazingly talented young people. The club wishes them continued success as they pursue their goals.
